I bought a new cellphone today.

I went in to get a simple, easy to use Nokia (hey, Jafa, thanks for that recommendation it was exactly what I wanted) and came out with a Nokia that has a camera, colour screen, email and WAP capable... hmm, not quite what I thought I'd get. I was totally seduced by the gorgeous guy at the shop and his adorable blue eyes LOL.

I bet that guy does the same thing to other customers too. Probably saw me coming and the dollar signs started flashing right before him LOL. I was totally sucked in. Oh well. At least it wasn't a very expensive phone (boy, some of those phones are pricy!).

Now if I could just figure out how to use the bloody thing LOL.

... I'm just very particular.

It's quite well known that I am "very particular" about many things LOL. I know I cause a few moments of pause when friends/family are buying me gifts (see below on what happens to gifts I don't like LOL).

Today though, I started my journey to find a new cellphone. What an epic journey this is turning out to be. Taking a freaking ring to Mordor has nothing on me trying to find a phone that I like LOL.

I have quite "particular" don't wants.

1. I don't want a flip phone. Hate 'em
2. I don't want a camera, video, mp3 player in my phone
3. I don't want Panasonic/Motorola/Sanyo/Samsung/Ericsson blah blah

What I do want is pretty simple.

1. I want a Nokia
2. I want to make calls and send/receive texts
3. I want a colour screen

Wow, how's that for cutting edge technology LOL.

Apparently what I want is not available. Every fucking phone out there is a flip phone with all these rubbishy extras. Hello, I'd rather have a crappy phone and a great digital camera as opposed to a good phone with a shitty camera in it.

The bloke at the Vodafone store, while trying to be helpful, must have thought I was a fussy very particular customer. Poor guy. Every phone he'd show me I'd be like "no, don't like that" or "no, I don't want that one" LOL.

Sigh. Looks like my quest for a new phone is going to take longer than I thought. Bugger it.

On Sunday I spent over $90 on books.

You'd think that $90 would get me quite a few books, but not in this country (where I swear, books are more costly than gold LOL).

I got three books. Yep, just three.

1. Buried Treasure, Victoria Findley
2. Running with Scissors, Augusten Burroughs
3. First Pass Under Heaven: An Incredible Journey Along the Great Wall of China, Nathan Gray

You know, it's been months since I bought new books. Mostly I get stuff from the library these days. Sometimes I might buy off Trade Me.

I'm reading more biographies and travel books (see three books above which fall into one or both those categories). I just finished this great travel book - When in Rome: Chasing La Dolce Vita by Penelope Green.

In this books, Penny, a 30 year old PR exec, chucks in her life in Sydney and moves to Rome. It's a great book and really inspiring. You know, if I had the money I'd do that in a heart beat. I would seriously give up everything here and go. Even if it meant I worked in a sandwich shop, 'cos really, who cares. It would be a sandwich shop in Rome. Wouldn't get any cooler than that. Actually, it would be cooler if I dated an Italian version of Wentworth Miller LOL.

What's the time limit on re-gifting? Not sure what I mean about re-gifting? Well, it's what I do when I get a present/gift I don't like, but don't want to tell the person who gave it to me that I hate it, so I give the gift to another person LOL.

I'm always careful that I don't regift something to someone who might be connected to the original gift giver LOL. For example, I was given this Coconut body lotion, body wash and something else. I loathe anything coconut or vanilla scented that you use on your body or hair. Ick. It's too sweet, clashes with my perfume and I really don't want to smell like Nana's baking!

So, this gift I received recently for my birthday (from a relative), I am thinking of re-gifting to a work colleague LOL. I can't give it to anyone in the family and none of my friends like coconut or vanilla scented stuff either LOL. I've regifted a few things in the past. I hope no one gets miffed about it, I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. But there is nothing worse than getting a gift you don't like or need LOL. At least this way, the person I re-gift to gets some enjoyment out of LOL.

I had a dream last night, which has left me thinking how amazing the brain, in particular the sub conscious, is LOL. In this dream, I was with a group of girlfriends, staying at a bach up the coast (a bach we frequently use). Dream Friends and Dream Me were sitting around, drinking wine and talking, when the discussion turned to me, and what I was going to say to Matt (ex-bf) when he comes back after being abroad for work. One Dream Friend asked me if I was going to tell him about the numerous 'overnight guests', dates, etc I'd had since he had been away. I said he didn't need to know this as we're not together now and I didn't think he needed to hear about my adventures. Another Dream Friend then said "the reason you want and like these one night stands is that it gives you a sense of control, to take charge and have a relationship, albeit a brief one, on your own terms... you can't have that with Matt. You can't have all the control, all the power. You have to compromise and talk. You have to work on the relationship, you have to consider the other person".

Dream Me was a little surprised. Awake Me was also surpised. Isn't it funny how a dream managed to "voice" what I really hadn't done myself yet. The sub conscious really is pretty cool LOL.

Dream Friends were right... I guess I do like having control over a relationship (even those one night ones LOL), I think having control gives me a sense of security, as things are on my terms, done my way, and I'm less likely to get hurt if I know right away what I want, how the relationship will work etc.

Anyway, it's given me a little to think about LOL. Damn those smart Dream Friends!

And now for something completely unrelated... Emmy fashions.

Now for some reason, Blogger won't let me upload photos - but I have to say that...

I went to an impromptu party last night. I'd called around, with a bottle of wine, to see a recently engaged friend. A few other people obviously had the same idea, as there was a wee crowd gathering.

It was in this crowd that I was introduced to Etienne - a very handsome, urbane and cute French doctor. Etienne is currently working here on a sort of year long international residency thingy (yes, that is definitely is what it is called LOL). He works with my friends sister, who'd brought him to the party to meet a few people. I must remember to call Sally and thank her for doing so LOL.

Man was he so bloody nice! It was the accent I think. The way he said my name, made me weak at the knees. He was a master at flirting (made my attempts seem rather pathetic) and he was so charming. He should really give lessons to other kiwi blokes on how to be charming, they'd definitely get laid more LOL.

As he was walking me down to meet the cab (Yes, I left alone... I didn't want him to think I was that easy LOL), he asked for my number and said that he'd call me during the week.

Sweet. Something to look forward to.

On a completely different subject, I was reading an article in the Sunday Star Times magazine today about being an average New Zealander. Apparently, the average kiwi has 11.9 sexual partners (what's with the .9? someone not a finisher?). I have to say that I am not an average kiwi in that regard. In fact, I think I'm a very high achiever LOL. Anyway, who wants to be average? Right? LOL.

Today has started off so well, I only hope it lasts the weekend!

The sun is shining in the bright blue sky, I'm wearing new jeans and new shoes, my hair looks fantastic (finally!) and probably the highlight so far, TGFTBWLLWM* was at the bus stop this morning. And!! He smiled at me. Cool. My whole morning was made with that one smile LOL.

I was reading the Sydney Morning Herald this morning, and came across Maggie Alderson's "List of Things an Accomplished Modern Gal Should Be Able to Do". Now, I consider myself an "accomplised modern gal", I thought I'd see what things on her list I can actually do.

*Toss a pancake
I'm pretty sure I can so this, however I've never made pancakes so I guess I have to say that I can't do this

* Make a birthday cake without stress
Yep! I made my two neices birthday cakes this year, complete with butter cream icing and decoration. They totally rocked, and the girls loved them!

* Make a soufflé, meringues and chicken stock
Souffle - yes, meringues - no (hate meringue, blech), chicken stock - yes

* Understand the scoring of the major sports (with some leeway for cricket)
Have no problem with most sports, apart from Golf LOL

* Swim
Like a fish baby!

* Ride a bicycle
Like Lance Armstrong baby! LOL

* Drive a car - both manual and automatic transmission
Yep. Though don't get to drive much now as I am currently carless

* Eat dinner alone in a restaurant
I've done this quite a few times, I have no problems eating on my own in a restaurant. In fact one the most memorable meals I ever had was when I ate alone in this small, but incredible French restaurant on Miyajima island, in Japan

* Play poker and backgammon
Ah, nope. Can't do this at all. I've never played poker (I'm more of a Go Fish, or Last Card kinda girl LOL) and cannot for the life of me figure out backgammon LOL

* Grasp the basics of at least one other language
I can get by with basic Japanese, Chinese, French and Portuguese. I'd like to learn Spanish next I think

* Predict what manner of wine most grape varieties will bring you
Sure, I can be a wine wanker with the best of them

* Open a bottle of champagne
I could probably do this blindfolded LOL

* Host a dinner party
Oh, I love dinner parties, so much fun. I haven't had a dinner party for months... it's probably a good time to organise another one

* Sew on a button and shorten a skirt
Yep

* Thread a sewing machine
Yes, two years of sewing classes at intermediate school taught me that

* Have several dishes you can cook without looking at a recipe
Thai Green Curry, Thai Fish Cakes, Chocolate cake, vege stir-fry with satay sauce, lemon and chilli risotto... and toast LOL

* Know when to clap during a classical concert (and when not to...)
I usually just wait until someone else starts clapping and then join in

* Waltz, or at least know how to be led by a man during same or similar
Oh, haven't danced with a bloke for ages. I mean 'proper' dancing, not booty shaking on the dance floor dancing LOL

* Write a letter of condolence and know what to say to someone recently bereaved - the first time you see them after the sad event
Yeah, I can do this, probably not the most eloquently but I do hope they realise how heartfelt it is

* Know how to act around a famous person
Well, I guess telling Bono that The Edge looked like a dickhead in a bar in Tokyo isn't probably the best way of acting around a famous person LOL

* Have at least one restaurant where you are known
Oh, looking at my fat arse, I'd say more than one restaurant knows me LOL

* Be on genial terms with your neighbours, and with the people in the corner shop
Well, I get one quite well with one neighbour (have been around to his place a few times), the others I've never met and I love the people in the corner shop! They save me a copy of NW and a Whittaker's Almond Gold bar every Thursday LOL

* Remember to pay your bills on time and very rarely run out of toilet paper or milk
Yep

* Make a store-cupboard dinner at 10pm after a bottle of wine or several
After a bottle of wine? Hardly, I'll be getting takeways LOL

* Shuffle a pack of cards without dropping them
Ah, without dropping them... then that's a no

* Enjoy being alone for a whole weekend
Oh yeah, I love doing this!

* Knit
Haven't done this since I was about 10, so that would be a no

* Go to the cinema alone
I probably go to the cinema by myself about once a fortnight

* Go to the theatre alone
No, I haven't done this actually

* Have a birthday book and use it
I don't have a birthday book, I have a perpetual calendar that I have all the birthdays written on

* Say no
Uh-huh, though I need to practice this more

* Say yes
Yes!

* Read a newspaper most days (and always at the weekend...)
Everyday, it's part of my morning work routine (get coffee, log on to pc, read paper LOL). I love reading the Sunday morning papers, in bed with tea and toast

* Serve a tennis ball
Hey, they don't call me Martina Hingis for nothing LOL

* Set your video recorder
Don't have a video, but if I did, I'm sure I could do this

* Work a digital camera
Sure, I can give it the old girl guide try

* Surf the net
Well, duh

* Send emails
Like a pro

* Make pastry
Make it? Hell no. Just buy it from the supermarket

* Ski
Yes, but not in any co-ordinated manner LOL

* Recite at least one poem by heart
So, we'll go no more a roving
so late into the night,
though the heart be still as loving,
and the moon be still as bright.

For the sword outwears its sheath,
and the soul wears out the breast,
and the heart must pause to breathe,
and love itself to rest.

Though the night was made for loving,
and the day returns too soon,
yet we'll go no more a roving
by the light of the moon

Lord Byron - So we'll go no more a roving

* Have legible handwriting
Well, I don't write, I print. So it's pretty legible

* Balance a chequebook
Ahahahahahahaha, yeah right

* Know roughly how much is in your current account at any time
Yeah, not enough!

* Pay your credit cards by direct debit
Every week... bugger it

* Remember to put the rubbish out
Wednesday night, after Prison Break

* Recycle
Religiously

* Grow fresh herbs on your windowsill
I have black thumbs, anything green I kill within days so it's better if I just buy fresh herbs from the market when I need them

* Know how to grow something from seed
See above

* Chop an onion correctly and get the thin papery skin off a clove of garlic
Oh, I have this cool garlic press thingy, that you put the whole clove of garlic in, skin and all, and it crushes it, while leaving the skin bit behind

* Light a barbecue (gas and regular)
Good heavens no. Last time I lit a gas appliance - I ended up with scorched eyebrows and eyelashes!

* Hold your drink
Yep, usually in my right hand LOL (if it's wine, I get pissed real quick, otherwise I can hold my drink quite well)

I've noticed, that over the years, I've become quite a lot more emotional. I wonder if its hormonal? Before, a sad movie or programme wouldn't have even caused a tear, now I'm bawling at news items and commericals LOL.

Yesterday in particular I was quite emotional. First at the scenes of the funeral of Dame Te Atairangikaahu, the Maori Queen.

She was a strong, dignified and classy woman. She served as Queen for 40 years, and her tangi* at Turangawaewae Marae was attended by thousands of mourners from all over the country.

Her coffin was loaded onto a waka** and paddled up the mighty Waikato river to Taupiri Mountain, where it was carried up the mountain on foot and laid to rest at the top.

[Source]

It really was a moving experience.

Then, last night I watched the final episode of Grey's Anatomy, where Denny died. It was so sad. I was sniffling when he died, but when Alex picked Izzie up and craddled her in his arms, I had tears streaming down my face! LOL.

Sometimes I'm glad I live by myself, so no-one can see how much of an emotional wreck I am over the smallest things LOL.

I am back from the family par-tay.

I had a really good time, the party was a big affair, with family and friends coming from all over the country.

I behaved myself too LOL. I didn't actually drink that much (in fact, I stopped drinking at about 10pm, and went onto OJ until I left at 2am).

There were lots of good looking young men in attendance too. A couple of hunky Maori and PI boys - tall, dark and built! Phwaor. But, considering my nana was at the party, I really didn't think it was appropriate to drool over them too much (or do anything more LOL).

As I had predicted, I was pretty overdressed for the party - as my sister said "we're a little bit the GAP and you're all Gucci" LOL. But it was a party! When else do I get a chance to wear cute tops and high sparkly heels?

I got to spend a little bit of time with my two nieces, who are so gorgeous and fun. The younger, Miss 6, wanted to know where "Uncle Matt" was (my ex). I think she was disappointed that he wasn't there, as her little face fell when I explained that we had broken up... "Will you get married?", "no", "oh..." LOL.

The best bit of the weekend away was coming home. I miss my little house, even if I was only away from it for two days LOL.

I'm heading off tomorrow, for a long weekend back in my hometown, for a family shin-dig.

I had envisioned I'd be a little thinner by now, but that hasn't happened! So, to cheer myself up, I went on a shopping spree today.

I bought this gorgeous top to wear with my new jeans to the party. I also bought the sexiest, sparkliest and highest heels. And a this very funky clutch purse. I'm all set for the party now. Knowing my family, I'll probably me completely over-dressed LOL.

I'm hoping to have a great night, and maybe have some fun with some hot young 20 year olds LOL.

On Monday I received a card and a rather long letter from my ex boyfriend. We broke up in May, after being together for over two years, because he is on a 6-9 month film shoot overseas and I didn't want to wait around for him (it was rather more complicated than that, but I'm trying to cut a long story short).

Now, I'm not so sure I made the right decision.

This letter and card has really thrown me for a loop. He said that he loved me, missed me and that he was trying to give me space and time to sort things out but really, all that does is make him crazy and wish we were together again. Argh!

I mean, what am I to do now? Should I ignore the letter and continue to move on with my life? It's hard. I have that teeny tiny shred of doubt that maybe, just maybe, I let the love of my life, "the one"... leave, and what if I never find that again with someone else? Then the rational part of my brain says "yeah, but you don't believe in 'the one' anyway" LOL.

Josh isn't really a factor, sure I like him and we have a great time, but he's just a diversion...right?

Ah, I dunno. This is not really what I want to be dealing with right now LOL.

Maybe I should just chuck in men all together. I hear this celibacy thing could be a good idea (yeah, right) LOL.

Anyway, in other news. From now on, you can call me Domestic Goddess! Tonight, in between cooking dinner, folding laundry and watching Rockstar: Supernova, I baked a dozen muffins and two cakes. I am suitably impressed by myself LOL.

Yesterday was my birthday, but the celebrations started earlier, on Thursday and have only now (Sunday, 5pm) finished.

But it was a fan-fucking-tastic birthday. I've been out every night since Thursday.

I am bloody knackered.

The major celebrations were actually on Friday night, where a big group of friends and family converged at a fine eatery and ate and drank far too much. The group was an interesting mix, including two ex-boyfriends, a former friend with benefits, my dad, an elderly maiden aunt and my current fling, who had come down from Auckland for the weekend. After dinner the core group of hardy drinkers made our way to a bar, where we drank cocktails and yelled at each other over the loud music LOL.

By about 3am I'd actually drunk myself sober (god I hate that LOL), so I took the lovely, gorgeous young man from Auckland (Josh) home, because I really thought the best birthday present I could give myself was to have a shag LOL. And I did. The man is a damn fantastic shag. I was sorely tempted to stay in bed with Josh for the day on Saturday, but I rather mistakenly organised to met a few friends for breakfast in the morning LOL.

The rest of the weekend was spent eating and drinking really (oh I did manage to see a movie in between all that noshing). Josh went back to AKL this afternoon. I'm not sure when I'll see him again, I think he's keen. I got a text message from him earlier "Miss you. And your tits. They looked great in that white top today" LOL.

I'm trying something new, I'm semi-liveblogging tonight's episode of Rockstar: Supernova. I quite enjoy this kind of reality show - more about talent and ability than sitting on an island somewhere, scheming and lying.

So, excuse the typos as I'm typing as I'm watching.

Okay, skipping over all the intro stuff and now straight into the performances.

Dilana - The Who, Won't Get Fooled Again

Nice intro from Gilby, I quite like him. He's rather dishy, in a middle-aged rocker way LOL. Dilana has a husky slight croaky voice. Very unique. Not quite sure if her voice works with this song. She's a bit subdued, I think her voice is too strong for it - not her best performance. Her red letter pants rock!

Judges - Dave liked it "that looked like a rock show". I think Dave really rates her. Gilby - "you're a star... after that, I have no doubt a woman can front our band". Which totally confirms for me, that I really don't think they'll pick a chick to front the band. So, they all liked it! It's obvious that I disagree a bit LOL.

Jill (aka poison dwarf) - Tracy Bonham, Mother, Mother

One word Jill. No! She's trying too hard to be "rock" - she's more like a karaoke Avril Lavigne. Awful. She's murdering this very cool song! God, she's all fucking flicking her hair. She's so bad... all hair, no voice.

Judges - Dave felt like he is watching "Carmela Soprano" LOL. Tommy "best performance so far", (oh Tommy, have the drugs addled your brain?). Jason mentioned that all the "moving around, you lost power of voice". Yep, agree with Jason there.

Ad break

Ryan Star - Rolling Stones, Paint it Black

One of my favourite songs, please don't murder it. What the fuck is this doofus wearing? Is that a wig? What a doofus LOL. Different arrangement, I think he's being too ambitious. Not impressed. Bland. Stop running around you dickhead. And that black paint around his eyes has done nothing for his squinty eye problem. Dude, get some glasses!

Judges - Dave "what the hell happened to you?", Tommy "interesting wow, I'm tripping...okay, that was dope". See kids, drugs will fuck your mind - just look at Tommy Lee! LOL

Storm Large - Queen, We are the Champions

Nice low start, I like her voice, though she is a bit "musical theatre" sometimes and needs to tonw down the overacting. Good performance.

Judges - Dave "difficult to do any Queen song justice, I think you did a great job", Jason "the arrangement was killer" and Tommy mentioned that he was "looking forward to you going bananas" LOL.

Ad break

Zayra - David Bowie, All the Young Dudes (with Magni on the guitar)

What the hell is she wearng? A gold lame, strapless cat suit, a huge top hat and drag queen shoes it seems LOL. God, she's got a great body, but she cannot fucking sing at all LOL. How can she fucking walk in those shoes? Terrible, terrible. I think she's off key and flat. Bad performance and I don't think the gold lame outfit is going to save her.

Judges - Dave "if this was rockstar planet pluto, you'd win like a landslide" (ah Dave, you crack me up!), Gilby was "digging your showmanship, but I think you need to watch the keys on the song" (yes, I was right about that LOL).

Josh Logan - Stone Temple Pilots, Interstate Love Song

Oh, Tommy's going to play drums on this one. Cool. I like Josh, he's the hotness this show so desperately needs. Unlike last year, when they had JD Fortune, this show is sorely lacking eye candy of the male kind. It's a good performance, but he needs to watch his "bobble head".

Judges - Dave "you did a good enough job", Jason "that's the song I've been waiting to hear from you - hadn't heard you sing on a rock song, great job".

Ad break

Oh, little Magni's baby with giant head phones on, so cute.

Brooke, blah blah.

Magni - Live, The Dolphin's Cry

Acoustic performance. I like his voice. He's quality people! Really good. Commanding. I think he did a great performance.

Judges - Dave "you're the first singer to stand up there by himself unaccompanied and deliver a songlike that, it was absolutely amazing". Couldn't agree more Dave, couldn't agree more.

Patrice Pike - John Lennon, Instart Karma

Average performance, a bit boring. Her hair is weird. Though I like that she plays guitar.

Judges - Dave "excellent song choice, I thought it was terrific", Gilby "really great to see you do something different, good performance", Tommy "well done baby, well done". Again, I disagree.

Lukas - Radiohead, Creep

Nooooooo! My favourite song... you better not murder it you hobbit! He tends to clench his teeth/jaw too much, and I think his voice suffers. However, he's doing a good job, vocals on key, strong... weird jerky movements not so good though LOL.

Judges - Tommy "can we get a hell yeah... got goosebumps", Dave "that was unbelievable", Gilby "definitely caught me off guard, great, great surprise", Jason "first time... that you used your gift properly and actually sang for us". Yep, I agree.

Toby Rand - Talking Heads, Burning Down the House

Oh, quite like this song, powerful rocky version, a tad 'pub band' though. He's rocking it... but the megaphone? Bit over the top mate. Could've just sang it normally.

Judges - Dave "great vocals, great performance, you had me all the way, until the megaphone, you don't need it" (Dave and I agree LOL).

So, out of tonights performances, I think the best was Magni, followed by Lukas.

Bottom three for me?

Jill
Zayra
Ryan

Will find out the actual bottom three after the ad break.

Bottom three at the end of the show?

Jill
Zayra
Patrice

Yeah, I actually agree with those.

Probably won't get to see the elimination show, as I'm out for dinner tomorrow. I wonder if they'll send Jill or Zayra home, I think Patrice has a bit more edge, more talent and a better voice than these two.

My world tilted slightly yesterday, when I heard myself utter three little words I thought I'd never say.

In. My. Day.

I feel so old LOL.

I saw this ad on Yahoo! yesterday, and just had to take a screen grab of it to share.

(Click on it to enlarge it).

Notice anything interesting?

What about the bit that says "Get ready for back to school" and shows nine items that "you need".

Um, excuse me? In my day, we didn't need MP3 players, cellphones, digital cameras, Games Consoles (I mean, what the fuck?! Do some homework you lazy kid!) and TVs for school! Far out. Whatever happened to good old pen and paper?
Man, the coolest thing I ever had in high school was a folder covered in pics of Keanu Reeves in a wet t-shirt (from the movie Point Break). The most high tech thing any of us owned was a calculator (which we weren't allowed to take into exams).

It's no wonder kids these days have this sense of entitlement, that they have to get everything and anything they want.

Bring back pens and pencils.

You know one thing that really isn't right? That really irks me? Creeps me out? (And no, it's not whistling or mushrooms LOL).

It's bumping into my former boss in
D.Vice (a sex shop) today.

Blech.

It's not the fact that he was in the sex shop that bothered me so much, well, okay, it bothered me a tad. I mean, a 50 plus bloke holding a dildo with a strap on harness (yes, I am not kidding) while asking me how I'm doing, where I'm working etc, just doesn't seem right. Does the man have no shame? LOL.

And to make it even worse, this is the second time I've bumped into him at D.Vice - he must think I'm a sex-toy fiend (fairly close to the truth - I prefer connoiseur LOL).

Oh well, it could have been worse. It could've been me holding the monster 12 inch black dildo! LOL

My birthday is in a few weeks time.

I wasn't going to plan anything special, maybe a few drinks and dinner at Zibibbo.

However, my Dad will be in the country for my birthday and he now has semi-hijacked my birthday plans LOL. He's only going to be in Wellington for a few days and so thought that it was a good idea to get people he probably won't get a chance to see, to come along to drinks. Which is fine by me. Except he has invited not one, but two of my ex boyfriends!

Argh. One ex is really good friends with my father (they're golfing buddies, drinking buddies and rugby buddies) and the other ex is married to a woman Dad used to work with. This 'small worldness' shit has got to stop! In fact, if I think about it, this is something that
happens a bit with my parents - becoming friends with my ex's!

It's just going to be weird, to sit around a table at a restaurant and see three men I've slept with (I've invited my toy boy non-boyfriend Josh along). Oh well, at least it'll be entertaining!

I thought I had a
TGFTBWLLWM sighting today. I was at Dymocks and thought I saw him in the non-fiction section. I should've gone and had a proper stalk look, but I was running late to meet a friend.

I tell you, that 'could be' sighting really made my day!
