Today is Melbourne Cup dayIt's a huge racing event in Australia, and here in NZ as well. They call it "the race that stops the nation".
We're about to do the office sweepstakes. We each put in $2 per horse. I've got two horses, I hope it's not a repeat of last year where I picked a donkey that crawled in last LOL.
I'm not actually a big gambler, but this is the one time in the year where I'll step foot in a TAB LOL, I've just put down $20 (hey last of the big spenders! LOL) - $5 each way on Yeats and Geordieland.

(They better not be donkeys!).
