Remember when Mickey Rourke looked like this?

Photobucket

Why he thought he needed plastic surgery I don't know.

He is getting rave reviews (and a Golden Globe) for his performance in "The Wrestler". I'll try check out the movie when it's released here (not until April apparently) as I am *whispering* a fan of wrestling. Seriously. Chris Jericho could totally pin me to the floor anyday.

I am a: Woman

Looking for a: Woman

Age range: 20 to 100

Location: Wellington

Talkative, fun, outgoing Wellington single girl seeks similar for fun social nights out. Must like Thai food, going to the movies, drinking mojitos, dancing to 80s music and think Johnny Depp is sexier than Hugh Jackman.

I'm going to have to advertise for friends. Although I've got a group of fabulous fantastic girlfriends, they've all slowly but surely stopped any socialising. Most are married, some with kids but all are too tired to do anything with me.

Last night I called a few friends to see if they wanted to go out with me to the movies next Tuesday... well, what a waste of time that was LOL. Even with a week's notice (to arrange babysitters or whatever) none wanted to come out. Boring! It's like pulling teeth these days.

So, I'm going to try and pick up women for purely platonic relationships. Where does one meet straight women? Supermarket? Gym? Shoe shop? This is going to take some time and investigation.

I have neglected this blog something chronic the past couple of months. Amazing how quickly time goes.

So, here I am and it's 2009 and sadly, not much has changed. Although I am browner since my last post. Yay. I know tans are given a bad rap, but I look so much better with a bit of colour on me. While I'll never be a bronzed goddess, I'm a lovely caramel colour and it looks good.

I'm on holiday at the moment.... have been since 22 December. I have done nothing but work on my tan, read books, eat and relax. I could've gone away somewhere, but I just wanted to stay around here. It's been great, I've enjoyed hanging out with friends, doing around the home projects. I have even planted herbs! I've been to the beach everyday - unfortunately rather disappointing people watching, but suberb gelato from Kaffee Eis on Oriental Parade. I have one everyday and now the lovely people in the cafe know me and know my flavour (passionfruit).

The only pressing thing at the moment is that I need a pedicure LOL. I think I'll do it tomorrow. Don't want to do too much in each day.
