Sex on FireToday has been a stunner. I love Wellington when it's like this. Hot and sunny, cool breeze and blue blue skies. I spent most of it at Waitangi Park, people watching, reading the weekend paper and listening to Kings of Leon ("Sex on Fire" is on repeat, I love this song, thought probably not one to sing along to loudly on the bus LOL).
Tomorrow, if it's nice weather, I'm going to attempt a 12km walk with a friend, you know, just a gentle stroll LOL. I think we'll aim to go out early before it gets too warm and so I'm back home in time to go to lunch with some friends.
Then I'm packing and getting organised for my trip. And then the weekend is over. Two days is just not long enough.

A lot has happened since my last blog post. Where to start? I guess the biggest piece of news is that I am officially a single girl. My relationship ended earlier this month, he's moved out and I'm in the flat on my own. It's been okay actually. I'm very happy and getting on with life (which at the moment seems to involve working long hours and not doing much else in order the pay the extra rent I have to cover). I think my Dad took the break up worse than me LOL, seriously went into mourning over the fact that he's lost a golfing buddy LOL.
I've been really busy at work, chaotic really. I love it though, keeping busy and rushing around. I'll no doubt crash when it's all over LOL.
I'm off here...
next week. It's for work but I'm staying on for a few days longer to do some Christmas shopping. And non-Christmas shopping. I'm treating myself to two luxury items. I'm thinking an Hermes scarf and maybe a bag of some type (I'd like the Jimmy Choo "Ramona"). Not sure, we'll see how the credit card goes at Takashimaya LOL. I'm also wanting to check out Ikea! I miss Ikea LOL. Someone needs to petition Sweden to get them to open a franchise in Wellington.
I've got a decent break coming up over Christmas and I plan on doing nothing more strenuous than reading and working on my tan (it'll be a fake one, I don't tan very easily LOL). Can't wait.
