Bumping into my ex-boyfriend. Crap!
I've moaned about this to a few friends; on Sunday I was shopping and walked into the Adidas store, only to walk out again as my ex and his new girlfriend were shopping in there. I just wasn't in the mood to deal with that.
Tonight after work I walked down to St John's Bar to have a drink with a friend (it was a gorgeous sunny evening) and who should come stand next to me at the bar, but my ex! We did the "hey" platitude but that was it. I was quite happy to get back to my friend and catch up on her social life (she's signed up with an online dating site and has been on a few dates, she's been regaling me with the horror stories LOL).
Honestly! It's some kind of karmic joke, all I need know is to bump into Tattoo Freaky Boy or Josh and I'd hit the ex jackpot LOL.
Sometimes this town is just too bloody small.

The following was sent to me today (click to enlarge).
I can honestly say that a hand held mixer or tea towels are really stretching it as gifts for Valentine's Day. "I love you honey, here's a Le Creuset pot".
Actually, now that I think about it, I wouldn't have minded a Le Creuset pan. In red. LOL. Would've been more use that the kayak I got one year for Valentine's Day (I used that 4 times).
Le Creuset pans in red will have to wait though, I need a new laptop, this one is on the fritz. Likes to disconnect my internet connection whenever it feels like it, won't load my email programme, won't burn or read CDs/DVDs and the "e" key is stuck (I have to bash it twice to get it to work). So this week I'll get shopping around for a laptop. And I'll admit that I will probably buy one that is cool looking and stylish as a first priority LOL.

7: A feeling that Poptart felt this evening, when she hosted a social networking event in which a guest introduced herself and her boyfriend to Tart. The boyfriend is Poptart's ex-boyfriend, the guest had no idea and Poptart didn't feel the need to mention anything and so felt awkward. The ex's new girlfriend is gorgeous, incredibly smart, young, interesting and so bloody nice.
